Seasonably Cold Temperatures Result in Deaths of Millions
As temperatures all across the United States drop deep into the average, plants everywhere are losing leaves and their healthy green at an alarming rate. We've receieved reports from all over that once-beautiful lawns are turning brown and some of the smaller tree branches, burdened by literally ounces of snow, are succumbing to the weight and cracking.
"It's like watching a war movie through my window," one distraught PASIV member wrote.
But what can you do to protect your loved ones? We've compiled a short list of simple things you can do to make sure your plants (let's be honest... friends) survive this moderate winter.
- Bring in what you can!
- While transplanting is somewhat stressful, it is a lot nicer than the Hell outside!
- Electric heating
- While a little more costly, an electric cord and a heater could mean saving lives
- Saran wrap your trees
- This won't help with the cold, of course, but it will prevent snow buildup on your tree's branches
- Hire neighborhood children to warm your foliage
- Kids are always looking for quick cash and here is a perfect chance to teach them about the importance of PASIV priciples! Think of it less as paying for a service and more like investing in our future.
